Director of Operations 

Veronica J. Shaw is a healthcare professional, with experience in business operations, management, marketing and healthcare services. Bringing more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare field, Veronica, specializes in solution-oriented operations and marketing and has assisted many healthcare businesses in reaching their goals.

Her professional experience includes working as an Area Manager for a corporate outpatient physical therapy company and as the Chief Operations Officer and partner in a privately held outpatient physical therapy company in Arizona as well as Co-Founder of VISION Marketing & Consulting.

Veronica holds a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training Education and completed post-graduate work in Sports Medicine. She values continuing education and has expanded her knowledge through courses in management, leadership, marketing and business operations. Veronica takes pride in serving the community and has consistently volunteered in various organizations including the Grand Canyon State Games, Arizona Athletic Trainer’s Association, The WiL Power Challenge, the Rehabilitation Integrated Network Group (RING) and various community projects. 

The professional relationships Veronica has built over the years are of great value to her. Her numerous supervisors, mentors and co-workers have had an invaluable influence to help mold her into the person she is today.

Veronica values the time she spends with her family and you will usually find her hanging out with her husband, Nathan, and her two boys, Dakota and Jonathan. When she is able to get in her free time she loves to go for a run or workout.



Mia Parrett, Senior Account Manager

Mia joins the Connections team from Boise, Idaho, and moved to Arizona to attend Arizona State University. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Communications in 2012, and  graduated with a Master’s degree in Professional Writing from Northern Arizona University in May of 2016.

Mia enjoys traveling, hiking, trying new restaurants, cooking, and playing with her dog, Sola. She loves finding new and interesting eateries in the valley.

At Connections, Mia is the Senior Account Manager, providing guidance for the other account managers and overseeing accounts while also serving as the content editor. Mia also manages the Connections website, and assists with business development for the company.






Brooke Kwasny, Account Manager

Brooke joins the Connections team from Mequon, Wisconsin, and recently graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations, and a minor in Spanish from Boston University.

When Brooke isn’t working you can find her on top of Superstition Mountain, cheering on her nephews at their soccer and T-Ball games, or traveling. Her goal is to make it to all 50 states and she only has 19 to go!

Brooke manages multiple accounts for Connections. Every day looks a little different but she is usually posting to social media, creating content for blogs, managing or updating websites, designing graphics and marketing materials, or translating content into Spanish.






Torri Levy, Account Manager

 Torri, a Scottsdale, Arizona native, is one of the Connection team’s expert relationship marketers and content creators. Torri graduated in 2015 from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, focusing on Mass Communications, and a Minor in Intercultural Studies that she received after spending a semester abroad in Prague. Torri enjoys traveling, reading, running, and spending time with her friends and family.

At Connections, Torri is an Account Manager who focuses on content creation and writing, and relationship marketing. She loves it when her clients are happy and accounts are running smoothly.






Rebecca Uhl, Account Managaer

Rebecca joins the Connections team from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and recently graduated with her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing with a concentration in Healthcare, and a focus in Leadership from Temple University’s Fox School of Business .
When Rebecca isn’t working you can find her hiking the Arizona trails, salsa dancing, or attending leadership development conferences. Her goal is to improve the lives of patients and physicians by making communication transparent!








Cassandra Villa, Administrative Assistant

Originally from Los Angeles, California, Cassandra is the glue that holds the Connections team together as the Administrative Assistant. Cassandra enjoys fostering rescue dogs in her free time, as well as spending time with her family and seeing her favorite artist in concert.

At Connections, Cassandra focuses her time on completing payroll, time tracking reports, social monitoring and administrative duties.
